Albert Amran is a Junior at Emory University majoring in Biology. He has been a part of RING throughout his three years at Emory and was a part of RING’s Certified Application Counselor (CAC) group.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Albert is interested in pursuing an MD/PhD program where he hopes to apply his love of science in a way that can help the public. During his time at Emory, Albert has been involved in microbiology research at the Emory Vaccine Center and Alzheimer’s Disease research at the Emory School of Medicine. He also thoroughly enjoys eating ice cream and Thai food. Albert believes RING can be highly effective in educating the public through RING’s new Post-Enrollment Education Initiative, which teaches new healthcare insurance consumers some basics about their new plans. He hopes RING can ensure that all Georgia citizens can affordably utilize our country’s healthcare system.
